The moment you approve a physical object — never an image, never a promise.
A client approves a finish over a WhatsApp photo, mid-afternoon, on a phone screen calibrated for nothing in particular. The actual texture, the actual weight, the actual coolness of it under a palm — none of that gets confirmed until it's already on the wall. By then, approval isn't really what happened. Assumption was.

A photograph compresses a material into six inches of glass and whatever the phone's camera decided the color should be. You cannot approve what you haven't touched — not honestly, not in a way that holds up eight weeks later when the finished wall doesn't match the memory of a photo.
This step exists so “approved” means something specific: a physical object, in the room, signed off in person.
